The Chart room is under new management. I went there with my mother over the festive season (Dec 2010), she had received a gift voucher as a birthday present from her colleagues. The new owner refused to accept her gift voucher saying it was only valid for the old owner which I found absolutely appalling!!
I'm no expert in business law, but as far as I'm aware when you purchase a business you do so including the assets & liabilities & you should at the very least be aware of all outstanding liabilities as much as you are aware of the assets.
Not accepting gift vouchers that were issued before the business sale is going to do one thing for your business - create bad sentiment & we all know that can spread faster than salmonella.
The new owner ruined an otherwise good evening and judging by his general attitude is creating more bad sentiment for his business than good out there.
0 out of 10 for the manager / owner being a Douche
