lovely restaurant and great view. However disappointed that a minor request was turned down - I ordered a small breakfast with 2 eggs, bacon, tomato and toast. Had seen that certain b fast had poached eggs. Requested mine poached - no.
Recently friends and I dined out at a local new restaurant in Walmer. A difficult lady ordered a preggo roll MINUS the roll and chips and veg instead. She recived it with a smile. another found the curry hot. Requested yogurt - we saw the waitress go over the the local Pick 'n Pay and return with the yogurt which was delivered to our table and not charged for - now that is what i call service.
Give the extra inch to make Barnacles, a fab place, greater. Must say everyone most friendly and helpfull.
Hope to get a poached on on request next time we visit.

Shocking service! Waited nearly 10 mins for waiter to get to the table , then 10 more minutes for drinks to get to us! They they rushed us to order cause the kitchen was closing for prep!!! So the food we eating isn't fresh? Warmed up in the mirco wave! ? Prep for what ? Never in my life have I heard of closing kitchen during trading hours to prep! Just shocked!!!!
