Hi, I baught a new corsa bakkie its four months old and the tauwny cover is faulty. I get to Executive delta edenvale, they tel me that they cant fix or replace it cause its not under warranty anymore. I am not happy with their service because everytime you get there they have a different story. i would like to hear from you cause this is not the first car that we have a problem with. If it carries on like this we will be putting a complaint on the web about the bad service that we get from GM.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Out of huge concern I would like to know, HOW do I get acceptable service from GM motors? I've purchased my 3rd car from GM East Rand and I am more than dissapointed! Both Sean & Carlos do NOT have an idea of customer service nor on how to sort out a warranty claim! I'm not a frustrated customer, im TICKED OFF! My husband even contacted GM SA yesterday, & guess...jip,NO feedback!! What would be the best way then to address this? The Sun? Beeld? Maybe someone would listen then? I've got a car with 30 000km's on it with a stuffed up gearbox (ja, this is the 'new' one they've done on warranty)a huge scratch on the paintwork, A dealer principil that tells me to turn the radio up so that I don't hear the noise from the gearbox, I'm NOT impressed! I want this sorted out to MY satisfaction by GM or I will sort this out myself!

I took my Chev Captiva for a wheel alignment on 18 Sep 2009. I was given a report and they requested me to take the car to my dealer and as something had to be done. They wrote it on the report 'Rear Offcentric'. I aksed what this was and they told me my dealership will know it. They asked me to bring the car back after this 'Rear Offcentric' is done for Tiger wheel to finish the alignment. I then booked the vehicle in today on 21 September 2009 after explaining to the dealership on Friday. I have just fetched the vehicle and I was informed that I should not worry as the alignment was done free of charge. This makes me wonder if this was a factory fault or not. I want more information on this 'Rear Offcentric' and what my recourse is to get my money back from either Reeds or Tiger wheel as I feel that I was short changed.

I have had problems with a front window (scratches & noisy everytime the i open or close) for almost a year now. I first took the car in to GM Hatfield in January and i claimed to have fixed it. I called them again and informed them that my problem had not been sorted and they asked me to bring it back which i gadly did. I was surprised to notice that he window was still not fixed the second time around and this time, they said they ordered a part which would take weeks to be deliered. I waited again and took my car in on a Saturday and then again it was not fixed. Last week i booked my car for a service and asked them to look at window again and reset my display. Upon collection of the car, i was now told that there's nothing wrong with the window and nothing was done on the display at all.
I'm really sick and tired of all this and i can't afford to be late for work 1 more just because of incompetent people.

I note with interest the lack of customer service Werner experienced from Executive Delte in Edenval. I am currently receiving similar lack of service. My Isuzu KB is with them since 3 March 2010 to attend to over heating, which subsequently turned out to be a blown head gasket. Today, 26/03/10 I receive an email stating they hope to have my car ready by 30/03/10. Even a complaint to the Dealer Principle did not bear much fruit. They don't seem to understand what customer excellence means.

lm disappointed with thepoor service l got gm westvaal welkom. I bought a chevrolet cruze on 21st january 2011. Until all documentation was done, l was not told that the car had no spare key. I later told that l will soon get the key. In three days time l was called in to collect the key, it was a wrong key. I then told to wait for two weeks from that time, until today l dont have it,l even ended up in trouble when my only key was locked in the boot and the car was still in the garage but l could not open it, l had to call a locksmith who charged me R 650. I went to the dealer to complain and asked to be refunded that money, riaan told me to my face ''that is not my problem'' you locked your keys its your problem pay for it. Please contac me back coz there is much to tell. Thank you.
