User Reviews/Comments:
I have been a Hypermarket shopper for the past 30 years. I do my monthly grocery shopping at William Moffet Hypermarket. For the past 3 months I had to leave the shop empty handed because I can no longer afford their prices. The specials is always ridiculous stuff like 'magnums, special expensive coffee, vanish etc etc.' I am not interested in luxuries, but need food specials that can feed my family. The specials at Checkers and Spar is the stuff that we all need. Thankyou Checkers and Spar for at least trying to help us. I am really disappointed because I quite enjoyed my shopping at the hypermarket. Pick and Pay is making the right noises on radio and TV but really does not deliver. I am not the only person complaining. All my friends switched to shopping here and there to make ends meet. I know my letter will probably mean nothing to you but at least I feel better.

It is no use having your specials end before we have actualy received our salaries.

My daughter bought a kiddies costume there for her niece who's birthday is only the 27 November 2009, she wanted to return the costume or change it for another one and they would not. I understand that you have a policy regarding the return of costumes and underwear, but really this thing has not even been fitted by her niece. Is there no way she can exchange it for another one. My daughter was not aware of this policy only when she took the costume back they showed her the board. I trust that you will get back to me regarding this matter

Just want to say thank you so much to Pick n Pay and expecially Luigi for taking such an interest in my search for a sewing machine and finding me one with a few days! You have really made me feel valued. Pick n Pay remains my shop of choice, especially because you also have such value for money. Thank you.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Luigi for being so polite and helpful when my Mom went into Moffat Park Hypermarket, to buy a microwave for me. I live in Johannesburg, and Luigi called me to ask which Hyper I would be going to in Jhb, told me to wait while he checked if they had stock and then called me back to let me know who to ask for at my branch. I went there and was back home with my microwave within an hour. Unbelievable service. Thank you.

On Saturday 14 May 2011 i bought a toilet seat (on special) for R229-99. When i got home i opened the box and found my "very expensive" toilet seat was broken. Not due to rough handeling on my side i might add. The screws keeping the two parts of the seat together were too short to start with and simply broke out of the wood. As i'm from Uitenhage, this means i have to fork out another R50-00 or so for petrol money just to exchange the seat. I'm disgusted in the quality of the product and i want my money back. Thanks a lot Pick 'n Pay Hyper!
