Yes david you are correct, he lies his little ass off, he routinely keeps your pc for 10 weeks at a time, the former partner sold his cut just because of the way they do business. We had to threaten legal action before we could get a routine warranty replacement after 10 weeks...
There prices are cheap but you pay for it over and over while you wait for customer support.

i would advise anyone thinking of purchasing from PE technologies, NOT TOO, they wont refund or replace any faulty equipment, they seem to get a lot of pleasure just mucking you about, promising to send the replacement then dont ,they promise to phone back and then dont, not once have my calls been returned, no apologies, they have no manners and their are staff are encouraged to give you the run around, no doubt by Vikesh,2 months now and still waiting for my replacement part, doesnt look like its going to happen unless i go in again, gave me another faulty part last time , seems deliberate, how can 2 parts in a row be faulty, he must have known they were so dont buy from this company is my advise

I agree, their products are cheap and sometimes faulty.One Saterday morning I arrived at PET around 9am.They just had to check out my PC's sound problem.At around 2pm they could still not fix it.They said I need to buy a new sound card (R60.00).Vikesh told me it will take 10min.They spend another hour.By that time i were beyond boiling point.My PC sound still work.My point is never let them fix your PC.I won't recommend anyone to PET.

They are terrible, i bought a high end gaming pc from them, their staff put in the wrong motherboard...i went in twice, they told me that i cause the motherboard to blow! and had to buy a new one. so i was clever and sent someone else in with my motherboard, they then used another excuse, i then knew they were lying..at that point rikesh said its because my motherboard isnt compatable with my cpu i bought, and i need to buy a newer motherboard, so i had to pay in the difference for a newer motherboard. their staff needs more training its ridiculous. NEVER BUY BY PE TECH!

ive never received a call back from them, and when other ppl i know go to buy by them they sell them cheaper parts than what they paid for, one friend bought ddr400 ram by them, they went and put in ddr333 ram, luckily i saw this and they replaced it. they steal in this way, you pay for expensive parts and they replace it with cheaper parts. vikesh belongs in prison.

Well by the comments and my own endevours with PET i would strongly agree...they are pathetic in regards to service delivery. In regards to staff,(in my experience)they are as equally pathetic. They are fast to make a buck and sell you junk. If you are not a person who is clued up on pc hardware or even software, they will rip you off and confuse you. In turn making you buy rubbish...Never deal with these people...Regards Matt...

I bought a dvd writer from them. It never worked. I took it back and got treated like trash by the technicians in the service department - as if I know nothing about computers. They then told me to come back in the afternoon as Vikesh was in a meeting. I refused - the one then said it is okay he can swop out the faulty dvd writer. He went into a room and came back a little while later with the same box I returned. The same faulty dvd writer was given back to me. I wrote the serial number down. I agree, do not support this dishonest company.

Yep. Before I opened up my own IT business I also used to buy from Vikesh, well, it only took me one purchase to see what's going on. My PSU blew so I went to him for a new one, left my PC there for them to fit it. At that time I didn't know allot, so I took his advice. Two years later I was wondering why my PC was so unstable. Well lookie, Vikesh put in a 150W power supply, and billed me for a 250W. Cheat, I always tell people not to go there. Sure, prices are cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for.

I have so far never had any trouble from pe technologies. i must be one of the lucky ones. i brought a 240 gig hard drive. i dropped it. it was under guarantee. was replaced with a new 300gig

Dude I Dunno, I am so scared now, I bought a high end GPU 8800 GTS from them, its working GREAT or should I say working. I am holding thumbs it doesnt break, OMG what if it breaks, what then, R3500 which was at that time alot of money,(mind you they did wanna Kcuf me during the sales process, they said they over the phone its was R3500, when I got there it was suddenly R3500, WTF!!!!!. makes me lie awake at night, because this card's graphics BOOMS)

I bought a power supply and when I burned a dvd it restart my pc. I took it back and they only switched on my pc to see if it works. There thecnician told me that it works and refused to exchange it for me. He was very rude. CLOSE DOWN THAT WANNA BE PC DEALERS. THEY SUCK!!! FURNWORLD UITENHAGE THE BEST!!!

I personally have only had 1 problem with PET.. this was not the stores problem but infact the manufacturer as my graphics card overheated and fried.. they replaced it in a week and the high end PC i am using now from them runs perfectly a year later. I do not see a problem if you know anything about computers they are fine :)

I have had many problems myself with clients that bought components from them and weir not able to return them including myself. I bought a TV card and asked them if it was compatible with Media center 2005 within the media center and they said yes. Got home, wasn't the case tried to return it after 2hours and they refused. Also reason i resorted to them was i didnt have my TV license on me and they weir willing to "overlook" that. Lesson learnt should have fetched it and bought from the dealers. Commercial Crimes unit has already hit them once and im sure they will continue till they close the shop down.

This guy still owes me R3000, When i called hi last he said i should come in, he gave me a cheque that bounced. I then went back to him, and he gave me another cheque but told me not to cash it until he tells me when to. Then he called me asking for the cheque back, said he will give me cash. I took it to him, he took it, tore it up, and paid half the amount to me. Since then i called him (Vikesh) many times, but he is always sick, in a meeting, busy, or he justs slams the phone in my face. I trusted him, so i do not have any proof that he owes me the money. Now it has been 2 years already and igave up trying to get it from him. All i can say is that this is a real skelema coolie.

NB!!!! before you buy a PC component ALWAYS do a little research first. ask friends browse the web get a general consensus going.
YOU CANNOT TAKE CHANCES WITH ELECTRONICS PEOPLE. If its cheap and you've never heard of it. DO NOT BUY IT. IT WILL BREAK.
I recommend Anstek. Brilliant support, Friendly well knowleged staff and hey their prices are not that bad at all. They only supply quality brands too. Its a win win. Its your own fault for buying cheap junk.
Here are some brands I highly recommend. ASUS, GIGABYTE, INTEL, AMD, XFX, EVGA, APACER, CORSAIR, LOGITECH, CREATIVE, GENIUS, SAMSUNG, LG, WESTERN DIGITAL. thats off the top of my head, but with those products you will have a full PC that will run stable for at least 10 years. A computer you can use as a hand me down when your done with it. Where do you think all that broken cheap crap you bought goes? its polluting the environment now.

I dealt with PE Technologies for many years and never had a problem. Once, my motherboard lucked out 2 days before the guarantee ended and Vikesh replaced it with a new one. I shop around for good prices and brand names and always found them to be the cheapest.
