Description: Eastern Province Orchid Society was founded in 1967 by a group of persons determined to get orchid growing established in Port Elizabeth and its surrounds. The society has grown steadily over the years. Monthly meetings featuring an out of town or local speaker are held at the Newton Park library and are well attended. The subjects covered at these meetings, usually supported by a slide show, offer something for all - no matter what one grows.
