Guillaume Ah Shene has his First Solo Exhibition in Port Elizabeth

www.MyPE.co.za: "Renaissance", the first Solo Exhibition by Port Elizabeth Artist, Guillaume Ah Shene, will be held in the Upper Gallery at EPSAC from 19 to 30 July 2010. The Exhibition will be opened by Michael Barry at 6:00pm on Monday 19 July.

Guillaume Ah Shene

Guillaume has a passion for art which started when he was 4 years old. His high school art teacher and mentor Michael Barry has always encouraged and inspired him. Guillaume entered the corporate world in 2001 and in 2008 he once again took up his art career and started painting and has participated in quite a few group exhibitions and has also entered an international art competition in New York.

Although he has been hard at work preparing works for his "Renaissance" Exhibition, he also found the time to participate in a few group exhibitions in-between such as:

January 2010: Who's who and what's new' (group exhibition). Nelson Mandela Art Museum
February 2010: Same size, same price, no signature exhibition (group exhibition). EPSAC
March 2010: EPSAC new signatures art exhibition (group exhibition). EPSAC
March 2010: Book titles art exhibition (group exhibition). EPSAC

Guillaume Ah Shene also took part in these competitions:

2009: Sasol New Signatures Art Competition. Johannesburg, South Africa
2010: 25th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition. New York City, USA
